From the pen of award-winning author Darryl James comes Love In A Day, a searing drama that tackles the complexity of modern-day relationships. Centered on three couples at a therapy retreat, the play covers a range of issues, including HIV, gender inequality, interracial relationships and closeted homosexuality. With the help of a relationship coach and his assistant, the couples work through their problems and come to a deeper understanding about love. Love In A Day is an engaging, thought-provoking look at love in today's time.

Filmmaker/Playwright Darryl James is an award-winning author (LA Riots/Revolution), lecturer, syndicated columnist and the publisher of Tenacious Books, a boutique publishing house for self-publishing authors. James has lectured for the National Council of Negro Women, the National Urban League, The Black American Law Students Association and the NAACP, in addition to radio stations, colleges and universities across the nation. He has provided relationship insight for Ebony Magazine and has written for The Los Angeles Sentinel, The New Pittsburgh Courier, BlackMenInAmerica.com, Soul Rydah and The Electronic Urban Report (www.eurweb.com) among others. James is also the author of Bridging The Black Gender Gap, the basis of a national seminar series and lecture tour and in 2009, released the powerful anthology "Notes From The Edge. His nationally syndicated column, The Bridge (www.bridgecolumn.com), deals with issues ranging from relationships to politics and from entertainment to the isms (racism, classism and sexism). James helped to define Rap Music Journalism as a writer for The Source and went on to launch the second largest Rap Music publication, Rap Sheet. James, a native of Chicago, graduated from California State University, Northridge, majoring in Journalism and Public Relations and is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha.
